This opportunity offers a candidate with a passion for freshwater fish conservation the opportunity to work within Global Wildlife Conservation, a renowned international wildlife charity. This role will:

  • Develop, manage and lead Shoal in the US; building the partnership, identifying priority projects, and fundraising (70%)
  • Support the ‘plan-to-act’ work of the IUCN SSC Freshwater Fish Specialist Group; assimilating data, identifying species and regions of conservation priority, developing projects, and fundraising (15%)
  • Support Global Wildlife Conservation freshwater species projects; identifying projects, coordinating with regional coordinators, project management, and fundraising (15%)
